SCOPE 3 Neo Platform Privacy Policy

Frutta Frutta Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) recognizes the appropriate handling of user information, including personal information, within the cross-border sustainable BtoB platform ‘SCOPE 3 Neo’ (hereinafter referred to as “the Service”) provided by the Company as an important responsibility. Accordingly, the Company establishes the following Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as “this Policy”).

Article 1 (Scope of Application)

This Policy applies to the handling of all user information obtained through the Service, including personal information provided by users when using the Service, information collected in connection with user transactions, and other user information acquired through the Service.

Article 2 (Information Collected)

In providing the Service, the Company may collect the following information: 1. Account Registration Information ・Company name, department name, position, name, address, phone number, email address, password, etc. 2. KYC/KYB-Related Information ・Certified copies of corporate registry, representative information, identity verification documents, materials required for counterparty screening, etc. 3. Transaction-Related Information ・Data related to quotations, contracts, orders, invoices, and payments ・Environmental data such as Scope 3 emissions (emission factors, activity levels, etc. registered by suppliers) 4. Payment-Related Information ・Bank account information, remittance history, payment status obtained via payment processing services, etc. 5. Usage Log Information ・Access date/time, IP address, browser/OS information, cookies, device information, etc. 6. Communication Information ・Messages sent/received and files uploaded via this Service ・However, this information may be deleted after the retention period expires (see Article 18 of the Terms of Use).

Article 3 (Purpose of Use)

The Company uses acquired user information for the following purposes: To provide, operate, authenticate users, and provide user support for the Service To facilitate smooth execution of transaction matching, quotations, contracts, payments, etc., through the Service To comply with laws and regulations (including KYC/KYB, exclusion of anti-social forces, AML/CFT compliance) and prevent fraud To manage, aggregate, and provide environmental data (including Scope 3 emissions) (Note: Completeness is not guaranteed) To improve the Service, develop new features, and analyze usage patterns To address violations of the Terms of Use and protect rights, property, and safety To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from courts, administrative agencies, etc. To provide information about related services, events, campaigns, etc., offered by us or our partners (distribution will cease if the user declines)

Article 4 (Provision to Third Parties)

We will not provide user information to third parties except in the following cases: When the user has given consent When required by law When necessary to protect human life, body, or property, and obtaining the individual's consent is difficult When particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound development of children When cooperating with national agencies, local governments, etc., and obtaining consent would hinder the execution of duties When outsourcing operations necessary for service management (outsourced parties will be appropriately supervised)

Article 5 (Data Transfer Overseas)

The Company may transfer user information to servers or service providers located outside Japan for system operation or data storage purposes. In such cases, the Company shall take necessary measures, such as contractual agreements, to ensure appropriate protective measures are implemented at the transfer destination in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act. Where applicable laws outside Japan (e.g., GDPR) apply, such as within the EU, the Company shall endeavor to comply within a reasonable scope.

Article 6 (Security Measures)

The Company shall implement necessary and appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage of user information.

Article 7 (User Rights)

Users may request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, or suspension of use of their personal information held by the Company. The Company shall respond promptly within a reasonable scope in accordance with laws and regulations.

Article 8 (Use of Cookies, etc.)

The Company uses cookies and similar technologies to enhance user convenience and analyze usage patterns. Users may refuse cookies by adjusting their browser settings; however, doing so may result in the inability to use certain features of this Service.

Article 9 (Revisions)

Should the Company revise this Policy, it will post the revised content on this Service or notify users.
